Amazing spot! Came with our two little boys and they had a fun kids menu. For grownups, there is wine and beer. The crab roll was fresh and the crab and clam bucket was spot on! Plentiful and fresh.... So delicious! They didn't rush us at all, despite the crowd outside. Our servers were friendly. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are craving seafood!!!

On our last night we decided to try Cracked Crab and it did not disappoint. We came on a Tuesday night around 6:15pm and were seated right away. The restaurant is small inside so be prepared for a wait but we came at the perfect time. Our server was awesome and she navigated us through the menu as this was our first time here. We ended up doing the Bucket for Two with 3 different types of crabs she recommended. All I can say is it was all good. We got sides of green beans (overcooked) snd mashed potatoes. The bread rolls were hot. Once all the crab was cracked it was so delicious with the drawn butter. The sausage was dry so we did not partake in it. Overall a delicious meal. Highly recommend if you are craving crab.

If you're looking for seafood in this town, this is the place. We got the bucket for two, fish and chips for kiddo, and house salad. We should have remembered how much our son likes crab, cause he ended up eating most of it lol. I would not get clams as part of the bucket again since it ended up being just a few clams with big shells. I couldn't really eat the sausage, it was too spicy for me, I usually enjoy hot link level spice. I appreciated they don't use plastic bags like some Bay Area restaurants do. Service was great, they even had honey for my hot tea. Fun casual seafood spot!

An amazing spot for your crab cravings. They feature plenty of varieties of crab. Lots of delicious other fare as well. The don't take reservations so arrive early or prepare with patience. It's very family oriented and casual. Crab doesn't come cheap so be prepared. It's oh so worth the cost. We had the Cioppino for two and we're so happy either way our choice. Lots of crab, plump clams, tasty mussels, large prawns and Dey fish in a savory tomato sauce they was perfectly seasoned. Could not recommend more highly if you want a delicious meal. Edit: the sourdough bread was fantastic!

So here we are again! We stopped here again to shovel down some crab. Brought my daughter and we really enjoyed our meal! Just as the previous post mentions....You CAN'T miss out on those mussels! Most amazing food item on the menu. My daughter initially didn't remembering me ordering these and was a little afraid when they showed up. She stared at them a few minutes and then decided to give them a try....Seconds later she was devouring them just about as fast as she could! I think she only left me like 5, lol! She really enjoyed them! DO NOT miss out on these mussels, it's literally one of the few things in this world that make life worth living!!! As you see in the pic, we also had the crab boil type bucket again, with all selections of the bucket order in Dungeness Crab. I'm pretty sure it's her favorite! I love bringing my kids here because these feel like core memories for their future. It's total nostalgic to come here. I can't wait for her to bring her family someday. So moral of the story.....If you're visiting the coast (Pismo Beach) and you want an AMAZING meal, don't miss this place. STILL kinda pricey, maybe even higher than the last time we ate here, but a totally unique top notch meal.... Ok I didn't knock off stars, but if there was anything I could give negative feedback too, it would be that the building could use a little renovation. It literally looks the same as it did many many years ago. It's a bit outdated. I would hate to see them lose clientele because they refuse to update the experience. They might even reel in some of those top level foodie bloggers to help elevate their status. They definitely have what it takes to put out good food, but the building could use a little updating! Please stay current so you're there for my kids in the future...Remember core memory!!! Enjoy everyone!

First I would like to start by saying THANK YOU for being open on Easter. So many restaurants in downtown were closed today. We don't live locally & most restaurants didn't have their times updated on Yelp nor did they have a VM Saying they're closed. We literally had to walk by 4 with paper signs in their windows. We walked in with no reservation at about 7:30 on a Sunday and we were seated very quickly. Our server was Keko I believe. Very kind & helpful. The sourdough rolls were served warm and were ridiculously delicious. The kids ordered from the kids memo & got chicken strips & fish & chips. The portions were great & even a little large given the price. I started w a Caesar it was very tasty. I really enjoyed it. The lettuce was very fresh and the croutons were sourdough. We also had the clam chowder. It was very good as well. Very creamy and flavorful. My husband got the shrimp pasta - he really enjoyed it. It was served piping hot and the flavor was good. I got the shrimp and chips. I feel like the shrimp were fresh. But I don't love that type of batter. the beer batter, just isn't my favorite. That being said the food quality & service were great. There were several things on the menu that were interesting & we'd definitely go back. We spent about $140 w tip. Which isn't too bad for a seafood dinner for a family of 4.

First off, what a wonderful experience from start to finish! I hadn't been here for about ten years since my parents took me and now I'm back with my husband. Our waitress Tabitha was amazing! We ordered the clams, bucket for 2 and the key lime pie for dessert. It was plenty of food! The sauce the clams came in, was perfect for dipping my bread and the shrimp that came in my bucket. The key lime pie was delicious! I'm not the biggest pie person, but I would order that again! Highly recommend!
